THE YELLOW JACKET SPORTS NETWORK

The Yellow Jacket Sports Network has been broadcasting Football, Basketball and Baseball games for Greer High School for 12 years. 2003 will be the 13th year of the Network and we hope to make it the best ever. We don't claim to be professional radio announcers but we do love bringing you Yellow Jacket Sports throughout the year. So tune in each Friday night and join us as we enjoy 2003 Yellow Jacket Football. This year, with the 7:30 kickoffs, the BB&T Yellow Jacket Tailgate Show will start at 6:00. The countdown to kickoff begins with lots of fun, music, interviews, statistics, a trivia question, previous game highlights, a game-night breakdown of the Jackets and their opponents, a conference sweep, the weekly Pick 'Em contest with a Guest Picker, and even a live broadcast of the coin toss. And of course, the Tailgating ends with coverage of the "most exciting 30 seconds in high school football", as the Greer Yellow Jackets enter through the Dooley Field stands. At halftime, listen in to the Greer Citizen Halftime Show, where we'll recap the first half, give the stats, get an interview with one or more of the coaches, and even an occasional special guest. And after the game, the night isn't over at the final whistle. The game is followed by the Greer Flooring Center Postgame Show. There will be interviews with Caoch Perry, and some of the Jacket stars, the final game stats, a few area scores, the Poinsett Grocery Player of the Game, and a special word from the heart from a Network member before we sign off! Join us each week, and go Jackets!!
