The Jackets went into their Spring Break coming off two wins on Thursday and Friday.

The 8-1 win Friday night over Clinton moved them to 2-0 in the conference. Senior pitcher and Georgia Tech commit Daniel Palka threw a complete game, striking out 15 Red Devils. He helped his own cause with 2 doubles and a homerun. Jon Redmon matched Palka's great night at the plate adding a double and a homerun as well.

On Thursday night, Kyle Taylor, a sophomore lefty, threw a complete game 7 hitter. Austin Cashwell, a sophomore DH, squeezed in the first run of the game in the second inning . Jon Redmon, a sophomore shortstop, drove in Derek Davis for the go ahead run in the sixth inning, followed by a run scoring double by junior third baseman, Chandler Johnson.
